Where is the Chelsea Flower Show 2019 and how can I get there?

As the name suggests, the event is being held in Chelsea, in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The showground is transformed with a vast array of colourful flowers with plenty to see and do.

As the event is in central London, it is recommended that people use public transport to reach the event.

The closest underground Tube to the event is Sloane Square, which is 10-minute walk from the venue.

Who is presenting the Chelsea Flower Show 2019?

The daytime coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show is presented by Angellica Bell and the Rich Brothers, starting at 3.45pm on Monday, May 21, on BBC One.

The evening presenters this year include journalist Sophie Raworth, Gardeners’ World presenter Monty Don and garden designer Joe Swift.

Nicki Chapman will not be part of this year’s line up following doctor’s advice to take time off to recover from recent surgery to remove a brain tumour.

Celebs such as Sandi Toksvig, Mary Berry and Michael Flatley will also be dropping in for a chat.

Sandi presented The Road to Chelsea on May 12 with garden designer Adam Frost, while Sophie and Joe had an exclusive first look at the horticultural show on May 19.

If you miss any programmes you can catch up on BBC iPlayer.
