Monday night sees the semi-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship roll around and we have two fantastic matches in store at Alexandra Palace.

Defending champion and world number one Michael van Gerwen takes on rising star and UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall in the main event of the evening.

There is some appetiser on the card in the shape of Gerwyn Price facing Peter Wright after both turned in superb quarter-final displays.

All four men left in the competition are deeply confident that they can lift the title on New Year’s Day but big challenges stand in their way before then and these are two matches not to be missed.
