Lucy Mecklenburgh 'reveals she will NOT live with Ryan Thomas once they get married'

She’s set to marry her ex Coronation Street star beau after he proposed during a romantic trip to Italy‘s Amalfi Coast in June. 

And now, Lucy Mecklenburgh, 28, has reportedly revealed that she and fianceé Ryan Thomas, 35, will NOT live together after they tie the knot, insisting that their current situation ‘works well’ for them, as the couple began celebrating Lucy’s 28th birthday.

The former TOWIE star is said to have explained that her she and her husband-to-be will continue to live separately so that Ryan can remain close to his daughter Scarlett, 10, who lives in Manchester.

According to The Sun, Lucy reportedly took to Instagram in a Q&A with fans, which saw her detail the plans for her living arrangements with Ryan Thomas as they prepare to wed. 

The reality star is said to have told fans: ‘We will always have 2 homes north and south. It works well for us right now and we don’t see it changing anytime soon.’

The revelation comes as Lucy began celebrations for her 28th birthday, with the newly-engaged beauty heading to Sushi Samba in London on Friday night, with her fianceé by her side. 

The couple were joined by Lucy’s immediate family as they indulged in sushi at the high-end eatery before heading off for a game of darts at Flight Club Darts.

Friday’s celebrations were rounded off with not one, but two birthday cakes as Lucy was presented with an extra slice at a second venue during the evening.

The lovebirds hired a boat for a fun-filled party on the River Thames, with the bash featuring balloon installations, a six-tired cake and a live band.  

The soap actor popped the question to Lucy in the picturesque Italian resort of Positano. 

She shared a picture of the moment on Instagram and wrote: ‘I said YES’ along with a ring emoji.
