Days after Peter Andre finally settled on a name for his newborn girl, he’s swooped in to support a struggling Joe Wicks.

It seems there is no greater task than choosing what to call your bundle of joy. And no one knows this better than celebrities who are well known for picking truly bizarre names for their children.

Now the nation’s favourite PE teacher is joining the group of confused parents.

The British presenter, 38, has been married to former glamour model Rosie Jones since 2019 and they share three children, Indie, five, Leni, one and Marley, three.

In January, the happy couple announced they were expecting a new addition to their growing family. But with six weeks to go, they still face one major obstacle – the dreaded name.

In an Instagram post to his 4.7million followers on Wednesday Joe shared a mirror selfie of her heavily pregnant with the caption: ‘Only 6 weeks to go. Still looking for some baby names. Got any ideas you can share with us?’

Naturally, the comments were flooded with helpful suggestions from adoring fans including reality star and singer Peter.

‘Arabella Rose,’ he wrote, with a laughing emoji. ‘It’s tough isn’t it? Congrats though.’

Sound familiar? That’s right, Peter, 51, chaotically offered the name of his own baby after it took him and his wife Dr Emily MacDonagh over a month to decide what to call their third child together.

‘It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andréa,’ Emily wrote on Instagram on May 2, alongside some pictures of the small one.

Although it looks like the Mysterious Girl hitmaker left the ultimate decision up to his wife, separately commenting: ‘I think you’ve chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official Arabella Rose Andréa I LOVE it. and I love her.. and you of course:).’

After giving her the long-awaited name, the Australian pop star shared the inspiration actually came from inside the home.

Peter already had 10-year-old daughter Amelia and six-year-old son Theo with Emily. He has two children with his ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 18 and Princess, 16.

The I’m A Celebrity star said: ‘Her name suits her perfectly and Rose is what we initially called Millie for the first few weeks.’

He also floated Belle and Bella as potential nicknames.

Although the name Arabella Rose is out of commission, there were plenty of choices for the Body Coach and Rosie to sift through.

Fellow health influencer Jacqueline Hooton added her two pence, joking: ‘I’m voting for Jacqueline if it’s a girl. I might be biased.’

Others suggested anything from Orla and Etienne to Dave and Gary, depending on the (still undisclosed) sex of the baby.

The couple have been open about the ups and downs of their pregnancy journey.

Earlier this month, while around 20 weeks pregnant, Joe revealed that Rosie had been rushed to hospital to have her appendix removed.

Appendicitis can put both mother and baby at serious risk if the appendix is not immediately removed upon diagnosis.

‘She and the baby are all good,’ Joe posted on social media after the ordeal. ‘She’s on the mend now.’

Joe has also had to fight fires in his professional life in recent weeks. In April he uploaded a three-minute explanation video after he was slammed by charity ADHD UK for claiming the behavioural condition was caused by ‘ultra-processed foods’.
