JOE Swash has claimed he had coronavirus when he won Dancing on Ice as he reveals he was suffering from “sickness and a fever”.
The 38-year-old risked being ruled unfit for the show when he was struck down with an ear infection.

He had to wear an enormous bandage over his head in a bid to help his ear recover from being kicked by a skate.
But Joe thinks in hindsight he may have been battling the deadly virus.
He told MirrorOnline: “In the final week of the competition I was really ill, I had a bad ear, I was being sick quite a lot, I had fever.
“I think I may have had corona in the last week of Dancing On Ice.”
A high temperature is one of the two main symptoms of coronavirus, with the other being a new, continuous cough. Sickness is not thought to be a sign of the virus.
Despite his ill health, Joe went on to win the show in a shock result against Diversity star Perri Kiely.
Some viewers were thrilled to see dark horse Joe win – after he started off in week one at the bottom of the leaderboard.
But others were disappointed that Perri lost out after his “outstanding” Boléro and claimed he’d been “robbed”.
