I'm A Celebrity's Richard Madeley savagely brands co-star Naughty Boy a 'pathetic moaner'

Richard Madeley has branded his former I’m A Celebrity co-star Naughty Boy ‘pathetic’ due to his constant complaining.

The Good Morning Britain Presenter had to leave the series early as he was taken to hospital following a spell of ill health, which broke the shows strict Covid bubble.

Richard wrote about his short experience in the Welsh castle in The Telegraph, and detailed Naughty Boy’s constant threats on leaving the show.

Richard Madeley unfortunately had to exit the show after visiting hospital

“Who will win? It’s anybody’s game, but I’d feel surer saying who won’t. Naughty Boy has been complaining, and misses his mum,” he wrote.

“He has his reasons, but from the outside that looks pathetic; viewers never like a moaner. Arlene is suffering a bit, too. She’s cold and longs to see her daughters, so I’m not sure she’ll be long for it either.”

Even fans have been complaining about the DJ’s many threats to leave the camp and each time, he does a U-turn and decides to stay an extra day.

The producer previously moaned about quitting the show on Friday night, just hours after co-star Richard left the series because of a visit to the hospital.

On Friday’s episode, Naughty Boy complained: “I want to make tonight a special night, as I will be leaving in the morning.”

“I just think my time here is done.”

Fellow campmate Snoochie Shy responded: “I feel like your journey’s only just begun. If I had handcuffs I’d chain you to a chair, but I don’t.”

Meanwhile, Richard was forced to quit the survival reality series after suffering from dehydration during the early hours of the morning last week.

After worrying producers, the star was taken to the hospital. As he was around hospital staff as well as people from the outside of the show’s bubble, he had to depart the show.

He said that he was “gutted” to be leaving as he thanked everyone for their support during his brief journey on the show.

“Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority,” he said at the time

“I’m incredibly excited to watch their journey continue…even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle.”
