Ice skating pro Sylvian Longchambon is set to appear in set group performances after ITV revealed its full line-up for the 2020 series of Dancing On Ice.
39-year-old Sylvain, who has danced with Samia Ghadie, Jorgie Porter and Corrie star Jane Danson, has been relegated after show bosses revealed their full skating line up.
Sylvain famously started a romance with his 2013 dancing partner and Coronation Street actress, Samia Ghadie, before the pair married in 2016 – going on to have a son, Yves Joseph Longchambon.
Despite not being part of the full line up, the French native will still appear on the show alongside his fellow professional performers.
Fan favourites have also been confirmed for the upcoming series, with Matt Evers who was famously partnered with TOWIE’s Gemma Collins is set to return and be partnered with Ian ‘H’ Watkins of Steps – in TVs first same-sex dance coupling.
Reigning champ Alexandra Schauman who bagged the top sport with partner James Jordan is returning alongside her husband Lukas Rozycki.
Fellow husband and wife Alexander Demetrio and Carlotta Edwards will be performing with celebs including TV legend, Trisha Goddard.
Disney on Ice performer Brendyn Hatfield will perform with a celebrity partner, while his wife Jessica Hatfield will be a reserve skater.
However, Sylvian is not the only pro who won’t be featured alongside a celeb, as Patti Quin will only appear in specific group numbers.
Celebrities on this year’s show include Love Island’s Maura Higgins , Joe Swash and iconic tv presenter, Michael Barrymore.
Celeb pairings will be revealed in a special Christmas episode – Dancing on Ice at Christmas. The one-off episode will feature a performance from Olympic legends and judges, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Dancing On Ice alumni including Jake Quickened and Ray Quinn are also set to return for the special episode.
