Madonna called coronavirus the “great equaliser” in a bizarre rant.
The singer, 61, made sensational claims the killer bug made everyone “equal in many ways” because it doesn’t care how rich or famous or funny or smart or how old someone is.
In the rant, Madonna said the deadly virus had no discrimination while it was wiping out people all over the globe.
She said: “That’s the thing about COVID-19, it doesn’t care about how rich you are or how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.
Madonna praised coronavirus for “making us all equal” but she recognised it was the unpredictable nature of the virus’ victims which also made it “terrible”.
She elaborated: “It’s the great equaliser and what’s terrible about it is great about it.
“What’s wonderful about it is it’s made us all equal in many ways.”
Bizarrely, the songstress delivered her rant while she was stripped naked in a bath.
Floating petals were swimming in her bath as the naked star was washing herself in the footage uploaded on Instagram.
Coronavirus forced Madonna to cancel her two final dates of her Madame X tour in recent weeks.
She had been struggling to keep up with her back-to-back night gigs as her string of energetic performances were leaving her feeling exhausted.
Madonna had been performing the last leg of her tour in Paris.
France put restrictions on public gatherings within the country to reduce the spreading of the virus.
As a result, Madonna had to pull the plug on her concert dates.
Madonna has since gone into self-isolation amid the worldwide pandemic.
The singer has been keeping herself preoccupied in self-isolation by doing what she does best – singing.
