Zooey Deschanel was spotted on a solo stroll, just one day after news broke of her romance with Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott.
The 39-year-old wore a wine red blouse and jeans as she stepped out to pick up pizza and a couple of mystery brown bags in Manhattan Beach, California, on Saturday.
On Friday, PEOPLE confirmed Deschanel had moved on with 41-year-old Scott.
‘It’s new, but they are having a lot of fun together,’ a source said about the actor’s relationship.
Deschanel split from her husband Jacob Pechenik after four years of marriage on September 6, announcing in a joint statement they had decided they were ‘better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners’.
They had reportedly been separated for months before they shared the news publicly.
She began dating film producer Pechenik in August 2014 after meeting on the set of a movie.
The pair then married in 2015 and share two children – Charlie Wolf and Elsie Otter.
Pechenik told HollywoodLife that ‘everything is amicable’.
‘We’ve been raising [our children] and we’re going to continue to raise them, and take great care of get them,’ he said. ‘I’m happy.’
The pair also share a business together called Lettuce Grow, which aims to change America’s food supply chain and educate consumers about where their food comes from.
As for the new lovebirds, Deschanel and Scott apparently clicked when filming Carpool Karaoke.
And he hasn’t been hiding his interest, commenting on her most recent Instagram post about the infamous 2012 Billboard Awards: ‘I have that same dress!! Does that make me a hero too?!’
