There might be rumours doing the rounds that The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have split, but he’s not giving anyway anything right now.
The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has been shrugging off such speculation and attempted to distract fans by teasing the possibility of a new album instead.
Choosing to ignore the rumours, The Weeknd revealed he’s much more focused on churning out new music material and tweeted: ‘album mode full effect (sic).’
Fans were quick to react to the news and were absolutely loving it, with one commenting: ‘OHHH MY F**KKKING GOSH.’
Another keen fan commented: ‘What we deserve.’
Although, the news wasn’t enough to keep some fans from commenting on the Bella ‘split’ rumours.
One fan tweeted in response that The Weeknd is back to working on his music as he’s been: ‘UNLEASHED FROM THE SHACKLES OF BELLA HADID.’
Eek.
Reports surfaced claiming The Weeknd and model Bella have split again, earlier this week.
An insider told E! News: ‘Bella and Abel have split. They are in different places right now, physically and mentally.’
Although, the reports followed claims the couple’s relationship is ‘hanging by a thread’ following a series of arguments.
‘Bella and Abel have had their rough patches in the past, and always managed to make up. But things have now reached an all-time low,’ an insider told The Sun.
Bella and The Weeknd are yet to address the rumours, but other reports are claiming the pair are very much together, but just ‘ironing out some differences’ like every couple does.
A source told Entertainment Tonight: ‘[They] haven’t broken up, but are working through things like normal couples do. The couple travels a lot, works a lot and that often creates tension.
‘However, the two love one another, have lost one another in the past and want to try and make it work. Right now they are together and working on keeping it that way.’
The Starboy hitmaker and 22-year-old Victoria’s Secret star Bella have been dating on and off since April 2015 and split in late 2016.
They reconciled last year, following The Weeknd’s split from ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
