Gemma Collins has revealed she is ready to settle down and start a family amid her on/off relationship with James ‘Arg’ Argent.
The television personality, 38, made the comments during TOWIE‘s Christmas special, The Only Way Is Essexmas, which aired on Sunday night.
After Yazmin Oukhellou, 25, asked her how her love life was going she announced she was ‘feeling very happy’ and ready to move forward.

‘I am ready for the next step. That is all I am waiting for in my life,’ she added. ‘I want to get engaged, I want to get married and I want to have a baby.’
Gemma confirmed she was single on the show last month when she told her pals Chloe Sims, 36, and Bobby Norris, 33, she was ‘very sad’ about her breakup.
But just a week after the episode aired she was seen kissing Arg while on a romantic getaway to the £250-a-night Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai.

A source said: ‘Gemma and Arg looked more loved up than ever in Dubai.
‘They’ve been staying at the Versace hotel and have been working hard to talk through their problems.
‘At dinner they were holding hands and instead of arguing, they seemed relaxed and content in each other’s company.

‘Everyone’s hoping their time away together will do them the world of good and they can return a happy couple.’
The pair’s last split came after it was revealed Gemma called 999 over fears Arg had overdosed.
It was reported the star received calls from Arg’s panicked parents after they couldn’t get into his house, where he lives alone.
Arg was said to have been sacked from TOWIE after failing a routine drug test, leaving his friends worried about his health.
A source told The Sun that Arg voluntarily agreed to the routine test before he returned to filming because of concerns over his previous issues with drugs and alcohol.
Elsewhere on Sunday’s episode Chloe Sims, 37, admitted her brief relationship with Dan Edgar was ‘the biggest regret of 2019’ as she raged at his girlfriend Amber Turner, 26, during a heated argument.
The pair crossed paths at Georgia Kousoulou’s Christmas party, eight months after falling out over Dan, 29.
Chloe raged: ‘The point is I’m not a**ed. You’re being muggy, f**k off and stay out of my way.

Chloe’s relationship with Dan amped up during a trip to Thailand in April after he and Amber split.
The mum-of-one told him at the time: ‘You know that I’ve always thought you were beautiful and a nice person.’
Chloe hoped Dan would be the man she had been waiting for and even went as far as saying she was in love with him.
But the romance was halted after Dan admitted he slept with Amber three days before they hooked up.
And in May, Amber and Dan’s relationship was back on as they confirmed their reunion by kissing on the beach during a holiday in Ibiza.
During Sunday’s episode Chloe added: ‘When he said in Thailand it was over I believed him. If you want to keep blaming me that’s your problem.

‘I don’t know why you want him. I think it is embarrassing you took him back. He’s embarrassing.’
During one of the opening scenes of the episode Dan asked Amber to join his family for Christmas.
She joked: ‘It’s our first official Christmas together and we don’t want to kill each other. Yeah I’d love to. Mainly for the family not you.’
And in other dramatic scenes James ‘Lockie’ Lock, 33, got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend Yaz after he changed the lock in their shared storage unit in a bid to keep in touch with her.

‘We’ve got a joint storage place. He said he’s changed the lock so if I want it I have to go to him,’ she told Bobby, Georgia, Tommy Mallet and Chloe Brockett.
And in the next scene Lockie told Pete Wicks, 31, there ‘are things we need to talk about’ as he defended his decision to stay in touch with his ex.
He said: ‘I got a big heart. We’ve still got things. We’re interlocked. We’ve got storage, businesses. There are things we need to talk about.’
And during a showdown later in the show Pete acts as a mediator between the former couple, telling them they have to let each other go.

He told Yaz: ‘You both obviously care about each other. Together you’re a nightmare. It’s not love it’s an obsession. I like you as a person but you’re as bad as each other.
‘He does still care about you. He’s worried about you. It’s so raw for the both of you the worst thing you can do is keep talking.’
After Lockie apologised for his behaviour during their relationship Yaz started crying as she told Georgia, Gemma and Bobby: ‘I’m not buying it.
‘I’m sometimes a s**t girlfriend but I didn’t deserve this. It’s hurtful just seeing him like this. I never want to be with him again, he’s hurt me that much.’
