The contestant who is set to quit The Bachelorette this week following a death in the family has been named.

As reported by New Idea on Tuesday, Ciarran Stott will leave the mansion during a cocktail party after learning that his grandmother had died and he’d already missed the funeral.

The 25-year-old Englishman reportedly stayed in the competition for a week after being told about the death, but eventually became too ‘depressed’ to continue.

After several days considering his options, he decided to fly back home to spend time with his family.

The magazine claims that the Englishman will clash with Jamie Doran at a cocktail party before declaring that he wants to leave.

After changing out of his suit into causal clothes, Ciarran will reportedly pull Angie aside to explain the situation.
