Amber Portwood shared her enthusiastic thanks on Wednesday after receiving good news about her relationship with her 15-month-old son James.
The 29-year-old Teen Mom OG star was granted additional visits with the child by a judge earlier that day, according to Us Weekly.
She was arrested earlier in July after for domestic battery after she allegedly attacked her now-former boyfriend Andrew Glennon with a machete while he held their young son.

Though Amber didn’t address her new visitations explicitly, she shared a pair of Instagram photos that seemed obliquely refer to her court date.
On Tuesday she posted a stock photo of moon-lit sky that read ‘i can’t sleep tonight.’
In her caption she wrote, ‘But that’s okay. I know I’m not the only one. Sending love always❤.’
Her mood seemed to be completely changed for the better on Wednesday, when she shared a bright stock photo reading ‘THANK YOU SO MUCH!’ over crashing waves at dawn.
‘I cannot even express how thankful I am for this morning. sincerely so much love and thanks to all of the beautiful intelligent people out there❤,’ she wrote in the caption.
Cryptic: Amber hasn’t publicly commented on the additional visits, but she shared stock photos to Instagram that seemed to indicate she as nervous the night before the judge’s decision and elated shortly afterward
On August 3, Amber spent some time with her 10-year-old daughter Leah, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley.
She shared a collage of the mother–daughter duo goofing off to Instagram, while also adding one photo of her absent son.

Meanwhile, Amber’s ex-boyfriend Andrew shared some sweet photos of him spending time with James.

Amber was arrested on July 5 after a physical altercation with Andrew.
She allegedly hit him in the neck while he was holding the boy, then used a machete to try to break into a room where he hid with their son.
The reality star also allegedly threatened to kill herself by overdosing on clonazepam, a tranquilizer often prescribed for anxiety and panic disorders that’s also known as the brand name Klonopin.
Andrew was awarded a no-contact order shortly after the incident, though the court removed the order later in July.
Amber was awarded supervised visits later that month, though now she’ll be able to see James more often.

‘Andrew seems more concerned with public perception than getting back together with Amber. He’s done nothing to indicate he wants to be back with her, and she’s done nothing to indicate she wants to get back together with him,’ they said.
‘Andrew took James for a haircut and has posted many pictures of James — Andrew is rubbing it in Amber’s face that she can’t be with her son and Andrew is still staying in the house she owns,’ they added.
The cinematographer disputed that characterization, claiming that he only shares pictures of James to show that he’s safe and doing well.
