Since leaving the Today show last year, Sylvia Jeffreys has been enjoying the perks of life as a roving reporter for A Current Affair.
On Wednesday’s episode, the 33-year-old journalist interviewed the hunky stars of the upcoming 2020 Australian Firefighters Calendar.
Sylvia, who is married to former war correspondent Peter Stefanovic, also profiled some of the organisations the charity calendar supports.

Sylvia looked like she was having a great time filming the segment and couldn’t wipe the smile off her face while meeting the handsome firefighters.
Despite being surrounded by shirtless muscle-bound men, the veteran TV presenter looked every inch the professional in a chic black blazer.
At the end of the show, one of the firefighters became emotional as he discussed some of the good causes they are raising money for.

‘Who knew you were such a softie, eh? We love your work, keep it up,’ Sylvia said.
Back in the ACA studio, host Tracy Grimshaw dryly joked: Great day at the office for Sylvia.’
The Australian Firefighters Calendar was established in 1993 to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation, providing funds for research into childhood burns.

Now in its 26th year, the calendar has raised over $2.8million for various charities. The 2020 edition goes on sale in July.
Sylvia filed her first report for A Current Affair in February.
She had been ‘redeployed’ to the prime time show after being dropped as the Today show’s newsreader in December.
