Strictly: Tilly Ramsay embraces Nikita Kuzmin after dance

Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin have undeniable chemistry on the dance floor – leading to speculation the Strictly Come Dancing ‘curse’ may have struck again.

Speculation was rife when they were seen clearly getting very close as he was snapped heading into the TikTok star’s flat last week.

To add fuel to the flames, Nikita’s girlfriend deleted a cute message she posted on social media and has now been setting tongues wagging with some cryptic posts.

But Tilly reportedly shut down the rumours by hanging out with Nikita and his girlfriend, Nicole Wirt, when she visited the UK last month and they “got on like a house on fire”.

Tilly started dating ex-boyfriend Seth Mack in November 2019, but has confirmed she is single and on the show to “focus on dancing”.

Tilly has insisted that she and Nikita are “just good friends” and has said that she sees him as more of a big brother than a potential lover.

Speaking about Nikita, Tilly said: “We’re just having fun. I think people are just obsessed with the Curse but don’t seem to realise we can be just good friends. And that’s all we are. People seem to forget that.

“I said from the start that I am here to learn to dance and that’s it.”

Nikita also shrugged off the speculation, saying: “Whatever is being said about us, we’re focused on our own dancing and that’s what matters to us.

“We are really happy just to dance and just to have fun. It’s like two good friends met for Strictly!”

She has previously been linked to the sons of some famous faces, but dad Gordon Ramsay has given multiple warnings about anyone trying to get into a relationship with his daughter.

The Ramsay family are very close friends with the Beckhams and have kids of similar ages, but Gordon doesn’t want his girls to get too close.

Clearly not wanting their families to be intertwined in matrimony, he explained: “Three girls and a boy, and three boys and a girl – you’d be amazed at the synergy. We’ve promised that no one dates anybody, and so far…

“If Holly said: ‘Yeah, Brooklyn and I…’ it would be: ‘No, Holly.’”

Gordon then got flustered when Tilly started becoming close with Gino D’Acampo’s son, Luciano, while their dads worked together on their ITV road trip show with First Dates star Fred Sirieix.

In a hilariously awkward moment during an episode of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, the This Morning star was video calling his son while they drove through Mexico.

Luciano revealed he was out for dinner with Tilly, so furious Gordon cried: “What the hell? Tilly! What are you doing, Matilda?”

Gordon went on to joke that Tilly could end up having Gino as a father-in-law but downplayed the speculation during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, claiming they were “just friends”.

Although when Jonathan joked it was an “arranged marriage”, Gordon described the situation as a “f***ing nightmare”.

Before Strictly had even had lift off, Gordon gave a stern warning to anyone on Strictly wanting to try and become his son-in-law.

Speaking in a video message on This Morning earlier this year, Gordon said: “Hey Tils, it’s your dad, TikTok coach, dance extraordinaire. Wishing you all the very best, we’re proud of you girl. Love you!”

He swiftly added: “And don’t date those dancers!” Then wife Tana asked: “Can you stop?”
