Science proves Bella Hadid is the most beautiful woman in the world

Bella Hadid is the most beautiful woman in the world, according to science – and it’s all because of the placement of her eyes, nose and lips.

The 23-year-old supermodel and sister of Gigi Hadid fits the so-called Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi rule calculated by ancient Greeks to quantify beauty.

It’s a mathematical formula that enjoyed another fashionable moment more than a thousand years later during the European Renaissance, and was used by artists and architects – including Leonardo Da Vinci – to create their masterpieces.

Ancient Greeks believed that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (known as Phi), the more aesthetically pleasing they are.

A mathematical formula puts Bella Hadid at the top of the world’s most beautiful women

The distance between Bella’s facial features puts her close to the Golden Ratio

Bella won out over the likes of Beyonce , Amber Heard, Ariana Grande , Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne with a rating of 94.35% to the Golden Ratio.

Harley Street surgeon Dr Julian De Silva put together the list by mapping the eyes, brows, nose, lips, jaw, chin and ears of each woman to determine who came closest to the ratio.

Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection,” he said.

“She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7%, is only 0.3% away from being the perfect shape. Bella also came second behind Scarlett Johansson for the positioning of her eyes.”

Bella has never admitted having plastic surgery, despite years of speculation

She claimed she’d be ‘scared’ to go under the knife

He added: “Beyoncé ran her a close second, scoring the highest marks for the shape of her face (99.6%) and getting very high scores for her eyes, brow area and lips.”

However, Bella may have a little helping hand in the looks department.

She’s previously sparked speculation that she underwent a nose job as a teenager when pictures of her pre-fame emerged, showing her looking very different.

But the supermodel has kept tight-lipped about any work she might have had done, telling InStyle magazine last year that she was “scared” of going under the knife or having fillers injected into her face.

Beyonce came second in the surgeon’s Golden Ratio list

Scarlett Johansson also scored highly

“People think I got all this surgery or did this or that,” she said. “And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling. I’m scared of putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn’t want to mess up my face.”

And in April 2018, after being accused of having a nose job and lip fillers by an Instagram troll, Bella clapped back.

She wrote: “Blessings to you sweetheart. Jealousy is a cry for help that I wish I could help you with.”

Bella’s lips got suspiciously bigger in October 2018, prompting yet more rumours that she’d had fillers.

But she’s yet to reveal the truth about her changing features.
