PIERS Morgan slammed Kim Kardashian’s dress and roasted Emily Ratajkowski after their Met Gala appearance last night.
The host’s nemesis Kim arrived dripping with jewels in a figure-hugging corset alongside stony-faced husband Kanye West as the fashion industry celebrated its biggest night of the year with a ‘camp’ theme – to the delight of Piers.
The 54-year-old host returned from his Bank Holiday break and laid into the flamboyant stars who turned up in spectacular frocks, telling viewers: “This is my favourite event of the year.
“This is when every big star in the world reveals what they’re really like, which is really nuts.”
As photos flashed up from the red carpet, Piers critiqued everyone from Kim and Kanye West to Emily, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Cardi B.
He told Susanna Reid as Katy Perry walked past dressed as a chandelier: “Look at Katy Perry. Did she stand in the middle of a table?

“I thought Kim Kardashian was brilliant. She came as a large see-through spank. What are they called? Spanks. I mean look at that.
“I mean Kanye can’t even look up. He’s like, ‘put something on love’. I’m not being funny … what’s camp about that?”
Turning to Emily, who wore went on: “Who else. Emily Ratajkowski, that’s another one that looked preposterous. I mean look at the state of it. That is a weird belly button. If I was her I wouldn’t show as much as she does. It’s a weird mass.”
However, Piers didn’t mind Katy Perry dressing as a chandelier.
Meanwhile, according to Piers, Cardi B was dressed as a big giant red duvet and Harry Styles wore a “ridiculous” blouse that revealed his nipples.

Former 1D star Harry, 25, went for the most daring look of the evening – which had a ‘camp’ dress code – by turning up in a sheer jumpsuit with high heels and an earring.
