Piers explained that as he made his exit, he accidentally smashed into a window leaving him slightly bruised.
The TV personality revealed that he had been tipped off that Prince Harry would be making an appearance via video link from California.
Piers began: “So it seemed a good time to go home.
“As I left, I could hear Harry lecturing the audience about the danger of ‘misinformation’ and ‘peddling lies’, without a shred of self-awareness.”
