We don’t have to tell you that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are absolute couple goals, but them FaceTiming in public has to be one of the most adorable things ever.
Orlando, 42, is currently in Berlin, Germany, promoting his new series Carnival Row, but made sure to keep Katy updated with what he’s been up to during the video call.
The actor was out at a restaurant with two female pals when he called Katy, putting the phone right up to his ear at one point in order to hear her better.
Orlando recently revealed what engaged life is like, telling news.com.au: ‘We’re doing great. Being engaged is a lot of work, but we’re building a castle that we can inhabit, a metaphorical castle.
‘In every important relationship, it’s always the little things you do for each other that add up. But things like writing a note, showing appreciation for that person and making sure they feel that you care, that you see what they’re doing, that you appreciate what they’re doing and that you try to make them feel safe and connected and grounded.’
The couple have been engaged since Valentine’s Day, and Katy recently supported Orlando on the red carpet in Los Angeles where they kissed for the cameras as he promoted Carnival Row.
Orlando stars opposite model Cara Delevingne in the new eight-part Amazon Prime Video series set in a Victorian fantasy land which follows mythical creatures who have had to flee their war-torn homeland, causing tensions between them and the citizens.
Orlando plays Rycroft Philostrate, a human detective investigating an unsolved murder while Cara plays refugee fairy Vignette Stonemoss, and the couple share a steamy scene in bed together.
The cast also includes Jared Harris and Indira Varma and was shot in the Czech Republic at the start of last year.
Carnival Row premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 30 August.
