LIAM Gallagher has spoken out for the first time about the CCTV footage showing the booze-fuelled star grabbing at his girlfriend’s throat.
Ex-Oasis singer Liam, 46, was seen pushing Debbie Gwyther in images published in The Sun on Sunday.
And now Liam has revealed he apologised to her parents and his mum Peggy after the shock row last year went public.
But he mocked cops as “starstruck” when they visited a police station to answer questions.
Liam, speaking alongside kids Molly, 21, Lennon, 19, and Gene, 17, said: “Nothing happened. We just had a disagreement, there was drinks involved, it was all blown out of proportion and it was all sorted the next day.
“It got way blown out of f****** proportion as far as I was concerned.”
Pointing to his kids, he added: “The next day I apologised to all of these.”
Not because there was anything malicious in it, but because it was in the press, going ‘Look, it wasn’t like what they’re saying’.
“I apologised to Debbie’s parents and my mam and the kids, cos it’s just bull****.
He then ridiculed the cops who questioned him, claiming they were overawed by his celebrity.
The jibes came in an exclusive chat with the Sunday Times Magazine on fatherhood which asked if he had touched Debbie, 37, during the bust-up.
Liam replied: “Not like they said it was. We went to the police station — and that was another load of b******* too, they all looked starstruck.”
It was also revealed Liam’s son has been thrown out of £6,459-a-term King Alfred School.
Meanwhile, in an interview with the Manchester Evening News, Liam’s brother Noel, 52, ranted at Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
He blasted: “F****** student debater, f****** captain fishy craggy old f****** donkey, f*** off.” And on Brexit, he said: “There’s only f****** one thing worse than a fool who voted for Brexit.
“That’s the rise of the c*** trying to get the vote overturned. You take part in a democratic f****** process — if you don’t like the outcome, go to North Korea!”
