Mariah Carey ends ‘feud’ with Ariana Grande as she includes her in Christmas hit tribute video

ARIANA Grande helped honor Mariah Carey with an All I Want For Christmas Is You tribute video on Monday, seemingly ending their long-rumored feud.

A slew of celebrities, including Ari, 26, teamed up to lip-sync the classic tune to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Apparently the Christmas spirit was enough to help the powerhouse vocalists let go of their alleged feud and give fans this holiday collaboration.

Mariah, 49, even mentioned Ari as one of the “amazing” people — along with Ruby Rose, Kim Kardashian West, Kris Jenner and a few others — appearing in the video.

She added on Instagram: “WOW! This is one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever have gotten.

I am so thankful to all of my friends and favorite artists who participated in this video. You brought a huge smile to my face. THANK YOU!”

Wanting to let the Christmas queen know just how much it meant to her, as well, Ariana tweeted heart emojis to Mariah.

In response, Mariah sent her own note of appreciation: “I love that you did the ad-libs on the bridge!! Thank you.”

The 7 Rings singer made sure to let everyone know she not only has zero beef with Mariah but was over-the-moon excited to be included in the project.

With fans asking how she felt about it all, Ariana responded: “u have no idea… 26 year old ariana lost her s**t.”

The singer added that she even screamed when she saw herself in the video.

All of this appreciation and love for one another comes after years of speculated fighting.

It all started in 2016 when the We Belong Together singer told Andy Cohen she had no idea who Ariana was while on Watch What Happens Live.

Upon learning about the Victorious alum, she wasn’t all that happy to hear Ariana was being considered the new Mariah.

The pop queen’s ex-husband, Nick Cannon, told VladTV in 2018: “Ariana made the cardinal mistake of saying—or I don’t even know if it was her—but, it was associated. It was like, ‘the next’ or ‘the new’ Mariah Carey.

“[And she’s like] ‘The f**k does that mean?’ I’m the Mariah Carey, why do you need another one? Why do you need the next one?’”

The first look at Mariah and Ari warming up to each other arrived in March when the former Nickelodeon star wished the 49-year-old a happy birthday.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Happy anniversary queen of everything. Loved u then, love u now, love u tomorrow.”

To which, Mariah responded: “Thank you dahhhhling.”

This truce is just the latest in good news for the singers.

Mariah’s All I Want For Christmas Is You is number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the second week in a row, while Ariana wrapped up her long-running Sweetener World Tour on Sunday.
