There are 92 accumulated positive cases of coronavirus in the Balearics as of today, an increase of 19 cases from 73 cases reported on Monday. So far, one death has been reported in the Balearics.
The president said that, in general, any type of flight, commercial or private, with the Balearic Islands from any national airport is prohibited. All private flights, regardless of national or international origin, are also prohibited.
Likewise, the landing of passengers on regular line vessels connecting to the islands, with the exception of freight, is prohibited.
Residents who are outside the Balearics at the moment can return and air mobility in the event of a catastrophe in very exceptional situations would be allowed, such as the case of postponed medical treatment or essential work, especially for the maritime connections, so that “the supply of the islands is guaranteed at all times.”
