Love Island bosses ‘order Curtis Pritchard new clothes after professional dancer gained weight due to inactivity in the villa’
Love Island producers have reportedly been forced to order Curtis Pritchard new clothes after he apparently gained weight in the villa.
The professional dancer, 23, is said to have gone up two dress sizes during his time on the dating show as he takes a break from his gruelling ballroom training, the Daily Star reported.
Insiders told the publication that Curtis is used to burning hundreds of calories a day with his active job but is now struggling to fit into his clothes.

A source told the paper: ‘Curtis took some clothes with him and there were also outfits provided by sponsors. But he had to ask for some new ones because he is struggling to fit into them now.’
‘Curtis normally burns off a lot of calories because he’s a professional dancer, but obviously in the villa he’s not been training.’
However, another insider told MailOnline: ‘It is astonishing that there have been calls for body diversity yet an islander who has allegedly put on weight is now being trolled because of it.’

‘It is incredibly irresponsible that any Islander would be body shamed in this way and we would always discourage anyone from making appearance based comments that could be hurtful to the islanders and their families’.
It comes after claims the 23-year-old star’s refusal to have sex in the villa is actually an attempt to secure a long coveted role as a ballroom pro on Strictly Come Dancing alongside his brother AJ Pritchard.
Curtis left Maura Higgins furious and sexually frustrated when he rebuffed her attempts to have sex with him earlier this week.

And fans definitely aren’t buying the dancer’s endless excuses about why he couldn’t sleep with her (which included being too tired, having a headache, two of his best friends leaving the villa, feeling drained and Anna’s comments weighing on his mind).
He told journalists before entering the villa: ‘Joining Strictly is an opportunity that I would never turn down but who knows.’
Curtis also declared he definitely wouldn’t be having intercourse during his time on the show – although things have been steamier than he planned with Maura under the covers thus far.

He explained: ‘I won’t be having sex on TV – that’s a private matter, if somebody does that, that’s what they want to do but it’s not what I would like to do.
‘I feel it’s a very private matter and should be done behind closed doors, not for the world to see. It should be between you and your loved ones.
‘Kisses are fine. Everything further than that, it should be a private matter.’
