However, the singer of the moment insisted ‘I stay in my own positive, you know bubble’ when asked about her thoughts on the criticism.

Appearing on CBS’ This Morning on Thursday, she was asked by Gayle King: ‘ You’ve heard some of the flack that you’ve been getting?’
But Lizzo swiftly replied: ‘Not really.’ She then clarified: ‘Well It’s their opinion so it’s not for me to really adjust. It’s for them to express and for me to choose to listen to or not.’
And she explained of her outfit: ‘I think noone would have ever saw what I was wearing, like the back of it, if I didn’t get up and dance.
‘The Lakers Girls [cheerleaders] came up to me and were like “We’re so excited that you’re here, we wanna perform one of your songs for you.” And I remember I was sitting there and I was with my manager and my friend and they were like “You should get up and dance, they’re doing this for you” and I was like ‘Alright!”‘

The answer is no: Lizzo said she had no time for other’s opinions, and would not be changing
With their encouragement, Lizzo launched into a routine.
‘So I got up and I just did what I always do. Anyone who knows me knows that this is what I’ve always been this is how I’ve always like to dress.’
Queried Gayle: ‘Did you forget your butt was out? I’m just curious?’

Laughing, Lizzo responded: ‘I had a little layers down there, it wasn’t just butt to seat. But yeah, it was out.’
Gayle was clearly intrigued, asking: ‘And you’re Ok with it being out?’
Yes, was the answer, with Lizzo explaining: ‘My butt was my least favorite thing about me and I’ve learned to love it.’
And she shared her mantra: ‘Be you, do you, don’t let anyone steal your joy.’
