O.J. Simpson sent a message to Kim Kardashian and her sisters around the 25th anniversary of his late wife’s death, she revealed on Sunday’s episode of KUWTK.
Kim, 39, told how her pal Jonathan Cheban, 45, ran into O.J., 72, at a restaurant and the former football star called him over and had him take photos with his friends.
‘He goes, ”I know you’re friends with the girls”,’ Kim recounted, sharing what O.J. told Jonathan with her sister Khloé Kardashian, 35, and Scott Disick, 42.

‘Please tell them I said hi. I’m so proud of them. I see everything that’s going on,’ she said.
O.J.’s late wife, Nicole Brown Simpson had been best friends with Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, before she was murdered on June 12, 1994.
Kim’s father, the late Robert Kardashian, was on O.J.’s legal defense team, a move that famously divided the family.
Kris, 63, had been tormented by memories of Nicole all week, as the anniversary of her passing approached and she couldn’t seem to shake the anger she felt.

Early in the episode, she met her mother MJ, 85, for lunch at Grissini Ristorante in Agoura Hills, California, where they discussed her friend.
It was already June 10, and Kris said the approaching anniversary of Nicole’s death was a ‘depressing’ time.
Nicole was 35 when she was killed on her front steps along with her friend Ron Goldman, 25.

‘It’s like, year after year, it becomes like, a little more faded,’ Kris mourned, recalling a vibrant friend with whom she often went on vacations and had adventures.
‘What I loved about her the most was that she was such a beautiful soul and had so much love to give to her family, her kids, her friends,’ Kris remembered in a confessional.
‘I can’t believe that 25 years has passed since her passing. It just feels like it’s so fresh.’

Kris and pal Faye Resnick, 62, had recently turned down interview requests about the anniversary, reluctant to go once again into the trial or details of the crime.
‘Just what the public wants to know and what they’re interested in are not the same as where our memories are and our hearts are,’ Kris said. ‘We don’t want to bring up bad energy.’
‘It’s sad that this is what she’s remembered for,’ she added.

Kris would later hear from Kim that an article about O.J. claimed he and Kris hooked up.
‘It says, ”O.J. Simpson once bragged about his hot tub hookup with wife’s best friend Kris Jenner that led the momager needing hospital treatment”,’ Kim read.
‘Simpson reportedly claimed the size of his manhood sent Kris Jenner to the hospital,’ she went on, learning that Simpson allegedly said, ‘he f***ed that b**** until I broke her.’

The claims were made by Simpson’s former manager, Norman Pardo, who had a new documentary out about the murders.
‘First of all, I’ve never heard of this person,’ Kris protested. ‘And that never happened. That f***ing piece of s***.’
‘It’s just lie after lie after lie after lie, and there’s only so much that one human being can take.’

She later told Khloé how upset she was by the article, saying, ‘It’s bulls***, man.’
Her daughter urged her stay positive, trying to stem Kris’ oncoming tears.
Kris later revealed during the episode titled Rumor Has It that she was pursuing legal action.

‘Enough is enough,’ she claimed. ‘I just called my attorneys and said, ”Take it down, or we’re coming after you.”
She and Faye had lunch at Toscana, to talk about everything that was going on.

‘We sat right over there,’ Kris recalled. ‘And I could tell you what she ordered. She ordered the whitefish with the spinach and the roasted potatoes, and I think she had a margarita.’
A waiter interrupted, saying: ‘It’s our 30th anniversary this week, and that’s the menu that was designed 30 years ago.’
‘Wow, that just gave me chills,’ Kris said. ‘So this would have been the same menu we had.’

‘That makes me sad,’ she continued, her eyes welling up.
‘The fact that we’re looking at the same menus that we all had when we were going there all those years ago with Nicole, I feel like it was just meant to be that this is where we are to celebrate her life.’
‘I think that I’ve realized that I’ve latched onto the legal side of stuff rather than deal with the emotional side of myself that just misses my girlfriend,’ Kris admitted.

Faye said that every June 1, the image of Nicole’s death entered her mind, noting it was worse in 2019.
‘Well, because it’s brought up every time, it’s on every news channel, it’s on everything you read and everything you listen to,’ Kris offered.
‘There’s a part of me that gets so angry that I can mask my emotion of sadness, because I can be angry,’ she added.

She resolved to focus on the memories of Nicole going forward.
‘Never underestimate what that person that you don’t have with you anymore has meant to your life and your soul,’ she said, as old video of Nicole was shown.

O.J. eventually announced in a Twitter video that the rumors he’d had a relationship with Kris were inaccurate, calling them ‘bogus, bad tasteless.’
‘I’m really happy that he set the record straight,’ Kris said in a confessional. ‘Done and done.’
As her mom grappled with old memories, Kim planned a trip to Costa Rica for daughter North West’s sixth birthday.

The little girl hadn’t stopped talking about her last time in the country, and she wanted to take her dad, Kanye West, 42, who’d never been.
It meant that Kim was going to be away when her new shapewear brand, Kimono, launched, which made her nervous, as she’d been thinking about it for a decade.
Her plan for the launch, however, was brilliant: a parody of infomercials like the ones her mom once starred in years ago.

In a flashback, Kris was shown hawking Wicks of Wisdom, a set of candles that ‘is so powerful, it can enhance your life forever.’
Scott, Kourtney Kardashian, 40, and their kids accompanied Kim and Kanye on the trip, as did North’s best friend and her family.
But as everyone swam and rode jet skis, Kim took endless meetings on her phone.
‘Mom guilt is so real,’ she opined, struggling for balance.
Later, on a boat, she FaceTimed sisters Khloé and Kylie Jenner, 22, at the Kimono shoot.
‘So much goes into these shoots, and it’s hard for me to disconnect, ’cause they need to be perfect,’ Kim admitted.
‘They have me dancing to Baby Shark, sucking on a lollipop and wearing Kimono,’ Khloé puzzled as she posed. ‘What is going on here?’
Kylie texted her sis: ‘Kim, BABY SHARK??? The director is making Khloé dance to BABY SHARK!!’
‘Good!’ Kim texted back. ‘It’s North’s bday trip and I’m trying to have some family time, so just deal with it! I have to go. I’m here to spend time with my kids, not work.’
Kylie next had to whisper to herself about shapewear on camera, which Khloé called ‘insane.’
Back in Costa Rica, Kim and the gang gathered for dinner.
Reign Disick, 4, said the prayer: ‘I pray that we have good dreams and we have butterflies in it, and we don’t get any bad guys, and we just get superheroes. Jesus, amen.’
In California the next day, Kris and her friends Kyle Richards, 50, and Lisa Rinna, 56—both of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills—shot their infomercials.
No one could get hold of Kim, so they decided to ad lib, not sure what they were doing.
Kyle lifted a leg to show the slit in her skirt, while Lisa stripped down to her shapewear and danced onstage.
‘Our kids are going to kill us,’ Kyle barked after Lisa said there were only 400 pieces in espresso.
‘Oh, my daughter’s f***ing really going to kill me,’ Kris agreed.
When Kim got back, her mom nagged at her for not being there, and Kim pointed out that she deserved a break.
‘At the end of the day, if the kids had a good time, then that’s all that matters,’ she opined.
Press reports later reminded viewers Kim changed the name for cultural reasons, to SKIMS.
In another subplot, Khloé agreed to go to prom with ‘Kardashian supporter Narbeh Babakhani,’ who had slid into her DMs to ask her.
It was her first prom, and she was honored to be invited, she said, noting that she’d had a hard time in high school, both socially and academically.
After ninth grade at Marymount High School in Los Angeles, she forged her parents’ names and enrolled herself in a home school in Calabasas—so she’d never had a chance to go to prom.
‘Have a little drink before you get out of the car,’ her mom urged by phone, so Khloé stopped to get champagne for the long ride.
Narbeh was thrilled when he saw her, immediately saying: ‘I honestly want to thank you.’
He shared that he’d dealt with body image issues, anxiety and depression throughout high school, and that Khloé had been a ‘symbol of strength’ for him.
As they entered the prom, all the students broke out their cameras, with one calling, ‘Narbeh, you’re a god!’
Khloé chatted with the students and danced with her date, but the cocktails in the limo took their toll.
‘I am pretty lit,’ she admitted, deciding to make a polite exit.
Later, as she took a cooking class at Kourtney’s house, flowers were delivered from Narbeh.
