GEORGE CLOONEY has led the showbiz boycott of The Dorchester hotel in London, due to it being owned by the Sultan of Brunei.
But there’s one noticeable absentee from the A-list blackout — Kate Moss.
Her questionable loyalty has led to a huge bust-up with her fashionable pals who had no qualms in denouncing the ruler, after he passed anti-gay laws allowing the stoning to death of LGBT people.
Despite knowing the boycott is clearly a good cause, the supermodel is torn because of her love for The Dorchester.
Especially because it is home to top restaurant China Tang, which she has been a regular of for years and where she celebrated her 45th in January.
So far, her lack of support has not impressed her long-time celebrity friends Naomi Campbell, designer Tom Ford and photographer Mario Testino. They are said to be privately annoyed by her decision not to speak out.
The Mayfair hangout is one of several up-market hotels around the world owned by the vile Sultan, along with London’s 45 Park Lane and The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
George led the fight against the Sultan’s hotels a fortnight ago, shortly after the barbaric new laws were revealed.
He said: “Every single time we stay at or take meetings at or dine at any of these nine hotels, we are putting money directly into the pockets of men who choose to stone and whip to death their own citizens for being gay or accused of adultery.”
Since then, Sir Elton John, Ellen Degeneres and Dua Lipa have joined the crusade.
If Kate can’t see that spending her cash in these places is supporting these disgusting laws, she needs to take a longer look in the mirror than usual.
Time to come clean, Liam
HERE’s Liam Gallagher giving his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther a friendly pat on the bum – a far cry from the sickening CCTV footage of him grabbing her violently by the throat last year, in Sun on Sunday exclusive.
There’s outright hypocrisy from the entertainment industry over the Oasis lowlife, which ignores his flagrant refusal to apologise.
In the trailer for his new film, which has been hit by very little backlash, he rants: “I am not doing this to be more famous, I’m f***ing famous enough, you know what I mean?” If that’s the case, then condemn your despicable actions. Be a real man, admit you were wrong and apologise.
As a role model to millions of young men, admit this type of treatment of women is not acceptable.
Until then, you’re erased in my book.
