When asked by the host if she remembered a “tough time” after her split, Karen said: “I think there were a couple of weeks that were dark.
“I had my friends coming to check up on me, and I had my dog, my rescue dog Betty.
“And I think she was my saviour.
“Because… Um, this dog was with me – is still with me – but I got out of bed because of this dog. To walk her,” Karen said through tears.
