Jesy Nelson's ex boyfriends after Chris Hughes split

Jesy Nelson has split from Chris Hughes after 18 months of dating.

The Little Mix singer, 28, reportedly dumped him over the phone as they are both isolating in different houses during the coronavirus lockdown.

Their romance seemed to be going from strength to strength, with the couple talking about getting married on several occasions.

But Love Island star Chris isn’t the only man Jesy has dated in the public eye, as she counts a dancer, singer, TOWIE star and rapper among her ex-boyfriends.

Here we take a look at Jesy’s love life as she becomes a single lady again…

Jordan Banjo

Jesy and Jordan dated for 10 months before they broke up in 2013.

The couple reportedly split after he struggled to cope with her growing fame – and the male attention that came with it – as Little Mix became more and more successful.

But Diversity star Jordan proved there are no hard feelings between them as he supported her upon the release of her anti-trolling documentary Odd One Out.

He said on ITV’s Lorraine last September: “It’s hard for someone in Jesy’s situation because where she’s been so successful and she’s done so much, people’s initial reaction is to go, ‘Well, if you want to do that, then you have to expect it,’

“It doesn’t work like that. And people, they get a phone or they get on a keyboard… Just imagine if you could just walk up to anyone in the street and say things that you say online.”

Jake Roche

Jesy started dating Jake the following year and they were together for two years.

They got engaged in 2015 and he even got Ed Sheeran to sing to her while he proposed.

But they split after a series of rows, it was claimed at the time.

His mum Coleen Nolan said they’d stayed friends after their break-up.

Chris Clark

Jesy briefly dated ex-TOWIE star Chris, brother of another Love Islander Jon Clark.

The pair were only together for a few months, with Chris claiming he felt “second best” to her career.

He told OK! magazine: “Our relationship came at a difficult time, though, because the band were touring America, so we mostly spoke on the phone.

“She was only in my life for about three months. I didn’t understand why she was interested in me – I’m just someone from TOWIE.

“I always felt like second best to Jesy. But that was my issue, not hers.”

Harry James

Jesy split from rapper Harry in November 2018 after 16 months together.

They first confirmed their romance when they were spotted on holiday together in Mykonos in July 2017.

Speaking about their breakup, a source close to the couple said at the time: “Jesy and Harry enjoyed their time together but have decided to call it a day.

“There are no hard feelings between them and they remain good friends – just at the moment it makes sense for them to separate.”
