Jesse Tyler Ferguson opened up about sharing a hot tub with David Beckham on a recent episode of Modern Family on Ellen.

Ferguson, 44, spoke with Ellen guest host Sean Hayes, where he opened up about the final season, and how he has been ‘naked’ a lot more than usual.

One such instance was an episode in January, where he was in a hot tub with Eric Stonestreet and guest stars David Beckham and Courteney Cox.

Ferguson added he was ‘very excited’ to be in a hot tub with Beckham, adding that she ‘kind of knew him’ before the show.

‘I ran into him and his wife Victoria Beckham outside a SoulCycle class,’ Ferguson began.

He added that the couple said they were, ‘huge fans of the show,’ as the actor said, ‘if you ever want to come visit the set, take my number.’

He said that he was texting with Victoria just ‘minutes later,’ and she said that she wanted to come that next day.

‘I was hosting them on the set and everyone was like, “The Beckhams are here. Have you heard the Beckhams are here?” And I was like, Yeah, they’re my guests.’

Ferguson added that, after that experience, he was, ‘already comfortable around David in the hot tub.’

Ferguson also opened up about being a new dad soon with his partner, lawyer Justin Mikita, who he’s been married to since 2013.

‘It’s trickier with a gay couple because you can’t just try,’ Ferguson began. ‘You have to like really try. It’s a process, and we’ve been in the process for like a year and a half.’

He added they are really excited and the baby is due in July, but when Ferguson asked Hayes if he and his partner Scott Icenogle want kids, and he said they’re not ‘100 percent’ yet.

Ferguson also opened up about the final season of Modern Family, which recently wrapped and airs the series finale April 8.

‘It’s very emotional. I’m really not dealing with it in a great way. I think I’m like repressing my feelings about it, and it sneaks up in weird ways,’ he added.

Modern Family has aired for 11 seasons on ABC.
