Jersey Shore cast helped Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and his wife Lauren after ‘heart-wrenching’ miscarriage

MIKE Sorrentino revealed his MTV tribe supported their dear friend and his wife Lauren after they tragically suffered a miscarriage last year.

The Jersey Shore star, 37, and the beautiful blonde, 35, said his cast mates supported him like “family” after they lost their baby seven weeks into her first pregnancy in November 2019.

The Dancing with the Stars alumn told Us Weekly of his on-screen kin: “They’re just like family, our second family,

“We go out to dinner with them pretty much every other weekend, and we support each other with birthdays and things like that. So when [the loss] happened, all of them checked up on me and Lauren.

“They were making sure that we did what we were supposed to do,” The Situation added of his friend’s encouragement.

Lauren – who he met in college before the show existed – added: “They were just like an extra layer of family.

“They were really the only people besides immediate family that knew we were pregnant, so we were able to share that experience with them.”

The longtime couple took a break apart while Jersey Shore aired from 2009 to 2012 and circled back to each other in 2013.

In April 2018, the realty star proposed to his now-wife – and of course she said yes – as cameras rolled for the popular spinoff Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

In October of the same year, Mike was sentenced to eight months in prison after he pled guilty for one count of tax evasion.

The following month, the couple got hitched in New Jersey with his famous TV co-stars in attendance just a few months before his prison sentence started in April 2019.

He was released from the correctional facility in September 2019 and while she appeared on the Strahan, Sara & Keke, Lauren revealed the lovebirds didn’t waste any time to try and start a family.

“The night he came home [from prison in September], we actually conceived.

“And then at about six and half, seven weeks, I miscarried. It was heart-wrenching. When I found out we were pregnant, I felt like this is why we went through all these challenges for years and that this was our time and it was our blessing.

“It was hard. It was really difficult,” she somberly concluded.

Though they’ve been through hardships, the hopeful parents continue trying to conceive a child.

“We’re going to keep trying. We can’t wait until that happens, and we’re very excited to start that chapter, and we’re moving forward,” the New York native revealed to the outlet.
