A MUM has admitted she was left stunned when the swimsuit she’d ordered her seven-year-old daughter from Shein arrived.
The woman said she ordered the flamingo print one-piece in an age eight for her little girl, as she’s “very tall”.

And while she thought at first glance that it was “so lovely”, she then spotted a feature that left her wanting to have a “little chat” with Shein.
“I looked and I was like what the f**k are those?” she said as she held up the swimsuit to reveal padded cups in the chest area.
“I mean what’s in the what in the Gary Glitter is going on here?
“Why does my seven year old needs need some padding in that area?”

She added she’s concerned she’s making the issue “into something sinister”, but asked: “Is there a reason for this?”
“I feel like these are not needed,” she continued.
“Would you get you know a pouch in the boys pants?
“That’s what I mean.
“I just don’t feel like padding is needed!”
Luckily the pads in the cups were removable, so the mum was able to just pull them out so that the swimsuit was still wearable.
“Is there a reason that I’m not thinking of for this?!?” she captioned her video.
People were quick to comment on the video, but there was quite a varied response to her query.
“You are completely right,” one wrote.
“My girl wouldn’t be wearing pads at 8 either! What in the world?” another marvelled.
“I agree with you completely – let them be children for as long as possible,” a third said.
“100% agree. Removed from my girls,” someone else wrote.
“At least you can take them out,” another added.
“I used to be so self conscious of my little ‘buds’ when they came so padding was needed.”
“True. it just seemed like it was to make them bigger if you know what I mean?” the mum replied.
“I think a layer of padding rather than cups would be a much better solution,” someone else said.
But others insisted the cups and padding was probably to help stop things from going too see through after a swim.
“Some girls mature faster and also nipples show as you come out of the water,” one wrote.
“I agree with Shein, I don’t want my daughter’s parts to show.”
“Depends on when a girl starts developing,” another added.
“Some girls feel self conscious.
“Maybe the range goes up to age 12 in which some girls might want padding.”
“I needed cups at 8,” a third commented.
“I would have jumped at something like this other than feeling so self conscious.”
“My 8yo has started developing so this would be a godsend for my peace of mind and also for her confidence,” someone else wrote.
“Things show through with just a thin piece of material.”
