Holly Willoughby was always going to have an epic girls’ night with Emma Bunton, an original champion of girl power.

The This Morning Presenter and the Spice Girl were joined by two friends for an evening at the theatre in London’s West End last night.

The girls opted to see Mamma Mia! for their big night out.

Based on the glittering discography of ABBA, the hit musical was the inspiration for the 2008 blockbuster Mamma Mia!, plus its 2018 sequel.

‘Cried, laughed, sang my heart out!’ enthused Holly after the show, calling it ‘just wonderful’.

‘Can’t believe this was the 1st time I’d seen the musical having seen the movie a gazillion times…’ she added.

Same, tbh.

Holly and Emma are long-time friends who often share their escapades on social media, and the latest follows Emma joining Holly on the This Morning sofa this week.

Appearing on the show on Wednesday, the Wannabe singer admitted she’d recently taken her sons Tate, 8, and Beau, 12 to see Frozen 2.

But her next reveal had Anna and Elsa super-fan (and mum-of-three) Holly joking: ‘I’m not sure we can be friends anymore! What happened?’

‘I mean it’s my favourite film in the world but… I fell asleep,’ admitted Emma.

‘It was because I’d had an early morning with the children, we’d come up to town, we had a wonderful day, in the evening we thought “Oh, we’ll round it off and we’ll watch Frozen.”

‘And then you know I was a little sleepy. I slept for about 20 minutes and kept going: “What’s going on?!”’

It happens, Emma!

‘They didn’t even care I was asleep!’ she added her boys with fiancé Jade Jones. ‘I’ll love it next time!’

Bless. We’re sure she’ll be seeing it countless times in the future, like every other adult with kids in their lives…
