Gary Lineker's son George shows off bad coronavirus symptoms by downing vinegar


Gary Lineker’s son George went to the extreme to show how bad his coronavirus symptoms have been.

The eldest offspring, 28, went to great lengths to reveal he had lost his sense of taste and smell in a clip shared on Instagram on Monday.

George decided to knock back a neat glass of vinegar to show his 40K following he has definitely lost his tastebuds.

It’s day 12 of isolation and he reported he still can’t taste or smell anything which have been counted among the symptoms of COVID-19.

In a clip, Gary’s eldest son polished off a glass of vinegar which he embellished with a squeeze of lemon juice.

He said: “A little taste challenge. I think I’m on about day 12 of not being able to smell or taste anything.

“Get some vinegar in here, that will do. Some lemon, put that in. Here we go.”

Post-challenge, George admitted it was “quite strange” when he couldn’t taste the vinegar.

Previously, Gary explained his whole family were plunged into isolation.

They begun isolating when George started showing symptoms of the deadly bug which has been sweeping the globe in a pandemic.

The former footballer updated his fans about his quarantine situation on Twitter.

“In self isolation as @GeorgeLineker has symptoms. They’re not the regular ones, but complete loss of sense of taste and smell.

“Odd these have not been pointed out much.
