Friends cast reunite to support Jennifer Aniston at swanky red carpet bash


Jennifer Aniston was reunited with her Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow last night at a glamorous red carpet event in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress, 50, enjoyed a mini reunion with her former co-stars at the 2019 SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Patron of the Artists Awards, where she was honoured with two Artists Inspiration prizes.

Friends castmates Courteney and Lisa presented the actress with the accolades and gushed about their “beloved, generous and deserving” friend.

Courteney, 55, and Lisa, 56, went on to speak about Jennifer’s achievements, both in her charity work and her acting career.

During a proud acceptance speech, Aniston described her time in the beloved 90’s sitcom as “lightening in a bottle” and said the cast went from “friends to a family”.

Cox praised her friend of 25 years to Entertainment Tonight , saying: “She inspires me every day.

“She is incredible. I’m just so happy to be here to support her.”

During a proud acceptance speech, Aniston described her time in the beloved 90’s sitcom as “lightening in a bottle” and said the cast went from “friends to a family”.

Aniston, Cox and Kudrow starred as Rachel Green, Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay, on the popular sitcom from 1994-2004.

Paul Rudd, who played Kudrow’s onscreen husband Mike Hannigan, also joined them for the mini reunion and posed for a picture with his former co-stars.

Leonardo Dicaprio, Olivia Wilde and Director Ava DuVernay were also honoured during the evening.

Just yesterday, Courteney sent the Internet into meltdown after she reunited with her Friends co-star Matthew Perry.

Courtney, shared a picture of herself with Matthew, who played her on-screen husband Chandler Bing.

Cox captioned the selfie: “Guess who I had lunch with today….I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends.”

Their reunion comes after Jennifer recently posted a rare photo of all six of the Friends cast together.

The actress, who rose to fame as Rachel Green, blew everyone away with her first ever Instagram post.

She joined Matthew, Courteney, Lisa, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc for dinner at Courteney’s house.

It prompted rumours that the cast were set to get the old gang back together once more, but Jen denied there would be a reunion.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said her and her fellow stars would love there to be “something” but they aren’t yet sure what that “something” is.

However during an interview on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM Radio, the actress confessed that while she missed the show, a reboot wasn’t a good idea.

She said: “We all miss it every day. I would be nothing without it […] If there’s a reboot of the show, it won’t be as good as what it was, so why do it? It would ruin it.”

Her words echoed those of Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman who has always insisted that a reboot would never happen.
