Flights are rarely considered a particularly comfortable way to spend a few hours. Plane passengers travelling in Economy Class may well find themselves unhappy with their cramped seating arrangements. Fliers can often be seen contorting themselves into bizarre positions in a desperate bid to get cosy.
The image shows one flier being very selfish indeed with their seating position.
The traveller – their gender is unclear – has decided to stretch out their legs in order to get comfortable.
They can be seen resting their feet on their tray table as they recline.
To make matters even worse, they have removed their shoes and socks.

Consequently, their bare skin is touching the table which is used for eating.
What’s more, the heavy weight of the feet could well be affecting the flier in front as the tray table is attached to their seat.
Instagram users have been horrified by the appalling actions of the passenger and have shared their thoughts online.
For some, it was the bare feet which caused the most disgust. “People are just so nasty!” one person wrote.
To add to the unpleasantness of the site, the person is sitting in a window seat which allegedly is the dirtiest of all the three seats.
Earlier this year a plane passenger travelling on an Air Canada flights claimed to reveal the difference in hygiene on board when it came to the aisle seat, middle seat and window seat.
The clip shows her using an alcohol-based sanitation wipe to clam the headrests of all three and it’s the plane window seat that appears to be the dirtiest.
The footage goes on to suggest that the aisle seat is easier to clean which is why the window seat has been so neglected.
