The park is aimed at families and kids between the ages of two and 12.

Inside the water attraction, guests will be able to have fun on the Lego River Adventure.

The river flows through the park where kids can float on rafts – which are customisable as they are built from soft, floating Lego bricks.

Along the way will be a cave with underwater designs as well as Miniland, which will have miniature constructions of well-known Italian landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum.

Younger kids can play at the Duplo splash park, with smaller water rides and attractions.

There will also be a place for kids to build we well at Lego Creation Island.

Souvenir shops and restaurants will also be opening in the park.

Tickets to Legoland Gardaland currently cost €39 (£35) for a day pass or €49 (£44) for a season ticket.

It’s not known whether guests will have to pay extra to visit the water park once it opens.

Legoland Windsor is getting a new Duplo rollercoaster in March for toddlers.

The largest Legoland yet is opening later this year in New York, three times the size of Legoland Windsor.
