It seems that Liam Gallagher fans are willing to pay top-pound for the musician’s face-branded trainers after a pair of the star’s sold-out designs landed on eBay for £1,000.

The Oasis rocker initially sent Adidas’ website into a frenzy with the release of his personally designed favourite kicks – the redesigned Padiham Spzl silhouette – which sold out within minutes at the price of £99.95.

Now just a few days after crashing the sports brand’s website with the high demand for kicks, lucky fans who managed to get their hands on the trainers at retail price are reselling the personalised creps on eBay from anywhere from £200 to just over £1,000.

The off-white Spzl trainers feature the stars face in a black-and-white silhouette on the tongue of the shoe.

When the initial line of the trainers were released, Liam tweeted to his 3.1 million followers: ‘Thanx to all my SPZL friends I love and adore you that’s SHOEBIZZ.’

And it seems the Shockwave singer isn’t too phased about his face-branded kicks being put up for resale either after the star responded to the news saying: ‘This is the way of the world though R’kid.’

The star even took the time to take another jibe at his long-standing feuding brother Noel, who he said had too small of feet to fit his trainers.

When asked by a fan if Noel had bought a pair, the 46-year-old rocker responded: ‘There [sic] too cool for him plus we don’t do size 2’.

Guess that’s another 10 years added on to the wait for an Oasis reunion then.

Some dedicated fans travelled far and wide to get their hands on a pair of Liam’s personalised kicks with one Chesterfield native, Jacob Handley, 24, telling The Sun: ‘I love Liam Gallagher, so it’s a no brainer.

‘I’m definitely keeping them, I won’t sell them. It’s something to keep hold of, it will be one to look back at in the future.’

Meanwhile, while Oasis fans continue to get mixed messages about a possible band reunion, Liam seems to agree with brother Noel that the band’s history would make for a really good musical.

In fact the star tweeted his own version of the possible plotline of how the group rose to the top in the 1990s and 2000s, not forgetting to call his brother a ‘massive c***’ in the process.

He wrote: ‘Oasis the musical 5 lads from Manchester start a band and take on the world the little 1 who writes the songs turns into a massive c*** sacks everyone except his little brother as he ain’t got the a**e splits up the band there’s a story line for ya THE END LG’.

His tweet came after brother Noel spoke of an Oasis musical which he claimed had been discussed behind-the-scenes and was confident it will see the light of day – one day.

Hopefully it will be more child friendly than the brothers’ lovely tweets, eh?
