EASYJET will launch holidays to Egypt for the first time next year, with travel deals to 24 hotels.
The holiday provider will sell packages to Hurghada as well as Sharm el-Sheikh, which recently saw the end of a four year flight ban to the destination.

EasyJet Holidays’ strategy and sourcing director Paul Bixby said during a travel conference that there was a “big opportunity” in the country for holidays from the UK.
He said: “We will offer a curated selection of hotels that we know are popular in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh entering the summer in 2020.”
Paul added that plans would be “kept small” with between 10 and 12 hotels in each location according to Travel Weekly.
Egypt is a popular location for British holidaymakers with cheap deals to the Red Sea.
In 2018, the country saw an increase in UK tourists by 39 per cent compared to the previous year.

This is thought to increase again next year after the flight ban to Sharm el-Sheikh was lifted earlier this year.
The UK government banned all flights to the region in 2014 after a Russian aircraft was bombed shortly after take-off, killing everyone on board.
EasyJet aren’t the only one to take advantage of the reintroduced flight routes.
Earlier this week, TUI announced that they would be launching holidays to Sharm el-Sheikh, launching on November 7.
TUI also launched another two million seats for summer 2020 holidays, following the collapse of Thomas Cook.
Other new routes launching next year include direct flights to Antalaya in Turkey with British Airways for just £139 return.
