EastEnders star – and recent new mum for the third time – Kellie Bright wrapped up warm while out running errands while on maternity leave.

The 45-year-old soap star is famous for playing Linda Carter on the BBC’s long-running soap and is the matriarch for a large family with five on-screen children that she welcomed with on-screen husband Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer – while one of the children’s father is Max Branning, played by Jake Wood.

And family life for Kellie is almost as busy as that of her on-screen character as she is the proud mother of three boys.

The actress is taking time out of her day job to look after her children after welcoming her third son in September this year – while her other two sons were born in 2011 and 2016.

Kellie was spotted out and about on Monday with her youngest in a pram as she went shopping in a pharmacy while wrapped up warm against the current cold snap.

The star wore a thick green parka-esque jacket which was complete with an animal print detail around the collar that would make any Albert Square resident proud.

She also wore casual blue jeans and warm Uggs-style boots as she wandered the shops and weighted herself down with a backpack and bags of shopping.

Kellie recently opened up about becoming a mother for a third time and how she welcomed her two youngest sons with the help of IVF.

The star and her husband Paul Stocker, 38, welcomed their baby boy, Rudy Joy Stocker, in September – and the couple have two other sons already; Freddy, nine, and Gene, four.

Sitting down with the Mirror last month, Kellie shared her joy at becoming a mother for the third time – but confirmed she and husband Paul were not planning to add to their brood.

She said: “I’m so tired, but it’s been amazing. I’m trying to savour every bit as these first few weeks are so precious and this is definitely my last!”

She also explained her joy at having a third son.

She gushed: “I really didn’t mind if I had a boy or a girl. We didn’t have a third child because we wanted a girl and in the back of our minds we expected another boy. The main thing was that he was healthy.

“I very much have the philosophy that because of the way we’ve had our children – going through IVF and the frozen embryo transfer – they are really meant to be here.”

She added: “I know it’s not for everyone and there’s millions of women my age thinking, ‘God I wouldn’t want to go back to that.’ But for me, I just never had that feeling of being done with having children. It’s a really special and unique thing.

“I do feel very lucky I’ve got to experience it again. But now, 100%, I feel the family is complete.”
