Love complaining at restaurants? Well this could be the perfect diner for you – but you’ll have to trek to Australia to visit.

At the newly-opened Karen’s Diner in Sydney, the staff promise ‘great burgers and rude service’, saying they’re searching for ‘the biggest Karens out there’.

Referencing the nickname for a certain type of problematic (usually white) woman who’s eager to call the manager, diners at Karen’s can expect to be greeted by rude servers who welcome your complaints, giving you the chance to vent over a burger and chips.

They ask customers to ‘bring your worst attitudes’, with a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page reading: ‘At Karen’s Diner we pride ourselves on giving you the worst service you’ve experienced, and we’re on the hunt for the biggest Karens out there!

‘We’re giving away $100 [approx £54] to spend at our unfriendly diner – just simply tag two of your friends who are always the biggest Karens.

‘Bonus point if your friend is actually called Karen’.

The vibe is that of an old-school diner, and the menu includes a range of burgers, fries, wings, shakes and cocktails.

All served to you by ‘100% rude staff’ according to the website.

It also reads: ‘At Karen’s you will be greeted and waited upon by rude waiters who in return are expecting you to give it full Karen.

‘A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don’t care.’

Interested in giving it a try?

While there are sadly no branches in the UK, there are Karen’s Diners due to open in Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia soon.
