Dad-to-be Iain Stirling has been practicing carrying his future baby – with help from his beloved pooch.
The Scots Love Island voiceover star is due to become a dad with his wife and ITV colleague Laura Whitmore.
They are expecting their first child together in ‘early 2021’.
And ahead of the big day, Iain has been getting their pet dog involved as he trains to eventually carry his bairn.
The 33-year-old TV star posted a snap of him carrying his canine friend Mick inside a baby wrap.
He simply captioned the post: “Practice makes perfect.”
Iain and Laura announced that they would be expecting their first child together in a post to fans in December last year.
They also revealed news that they married in a secret ceremony in Dublin during lockdown.
In a lengthy post, Laura wrote: “Sweet child o’mine coming 2021. So I’ve tried to be protective over the personal side of my life.
“A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.
“However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lockdown beer belly is out of control.
“Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet.
“Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.
“I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!
“We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”
The pair have been documenting Laura’s pregnancy journey on their Instagram accounts since news of their baby was revealed.
Laura recently told fans that she is expecting to give birth ‘soon’, as she shared snaps of her third trimester bump in January.
