CORONATION Street fans are convinced Jade Rowan is secretly a murderer, who is set to kill Fiz Brown.
Viewers are suspicious the tutor may have an ulterior motive for arriving on the cobbles.
Jade has moved into the Stape and Brown household after being asked by Fiz to help with her daughter Hope.
She worked with Hope at a specialist school in Birmingham before moving to Weatherfield to continue to tutor her.
But fans are fearing the worst for Fiz as they’re convinced Jade – who is played by Lottie Henshall – is secretly a murderer related to John Stape.
Taking to Twitter, a viewer speculated: “I wonder if Jade is related to John”.
A second said: “Omg!! Is Jade related to John Stape?!”
John was the on/off boyfriend of Fiz until they got married in 2009.
He was involved in some of the soap’s major storylines at the time including covering up Colin Fishwick’s death from a heart attack, the murders of Joy Fishwick and Charlotte Hoyle.
And it isn’t just viewers who have grown suspicious of Jade.
Evelyn Plummer – played by Maureen Lipman on the ITV soap – has also become weary of the newcomer after finding her rifling through Fiz’s drawers.
Evelyn quietly let herself into No.9 where she found Jade going through the drawers.
But she was sideswiped when Jade confesses to her about her terrible marriage and that if it wasn’t for Fiz, she would never have survived.
She explains that she was looking for a photo she could get framed to say thank you.
When Fiz returns home, she’s taken aback to find Jade pouring her heart out to Evelyn about her abusive marriage.
It was revealed back in August that teaching assistant Jade would come between Fiz and partner Tyrone Dobbs.
An ITV source revealed at the time: “Jade arrives as a teaching assistant from Birmingham, who Fiz asks to help Hope read just and settle back into the family home.
“As Hope loves Jade, Fiz invites her to stay and tutor her daughter.
“Her character drives a wedge between Tyrone and Fiz after she moves in with them.”
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
