Channel Seven has become notoriously known for its sexually explicit midday movies.
And Friday’s offering of Blue Lagoon: The Awakening was no different as it included VERY steamy scenes of a teen couple having sex on the beach.
The Lifetime movie, that stars Australian actress Indiana Evans, tells the story of two teenagers that fall in love after becoming stranded on a tropical island.
The made-for-TV movie, released in 2012, features a bikini-clad Evans and includes a number of provocative scenes including a risqué beach romp.
Emmeline (played by Evans) and her high-school beau Dean (Brenton Thwaites) are seen writhing around in the sea together, before getting intimate in the sand.
The sexually-explicit scenes continue of the pair romping underneath a hand-built shelter, before the characters are seen lying next to each other naked.

Under the 2010 Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice, mature-rated content can be legally broadcast between the hours of 12pm and 3pm on a weekday.
This ‘classification zone’ is in addition to the more widely-known 8.30pm-5am watershed for films above a PG rating.

Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, based on the novel The Blue Lagoon and its previous film adaptations, premiered in the US on Lifetime seven years ago in 2012.
Indiana’s appearance in the film came after her exit from Home and Away. She had appeared on the Australian soap for four years as Matilda Hunter.
Channel Seven has aired a number of raunchy movies during its midday slot recently including Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret and Lifetime’s Anna Nicole Smith biopic.
The Anna Nicole Story documents the life of the tragic Playboy model and follows her days working as a stripper, before her fatal drug overdose in 2007.
