Katie Price is set to be evicted from her home but sources claim that she has one ‘last chance’ to save her property.
In March, the 45-year-old declared bankruptcy for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.
There have now been reports that although the former model has been hit with an eviction notice, Katie isn’t leaving her £2,000,000 mansion anytime soon.
The property is located in Horsham, West Sussex, and was purchased by Katie in October 2014 for £1.35million.
Sources have claimed that the star will defend her property in an upcoming hearing.
It has been reported that she plans to explain that her home is not just for her family, but also her place of business – where she creates content for her OnlyFans account.
A source told The Mirror: ‘This really is Katie’s last chance. She’ll also have to prove that she can retrieve the financial situation by showing she can start settling her debts because it won’t be enough to just say it is her house and place of business. She’s going to have to stump up some readies and quickly.’
It was also revealed that if the star is evicted from her home, she has plans to live in a ‘static caravan’ with her boyfriend JJ, 14 years her junior.
A source told The Sun: ‘Katie is planning to live in a static caravan after being kicked out and has already been looking for one.
‘The idea is to live with JJ eventually but while they search for a rented property she’s been left with no choice – a caravan really is her only option right now.’
The letter of eviction, seen by The Sun, reportedly reads: ‘The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant.
‘A warrant gives a county court bailiff the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant.”
The notice states that the occupants will be evicted on May 29 at 10am, which Katie’s reps have denied.
Her representatives commented: ‘Katie will not be evicted from her property on 29th May. All paperwork regarding this has been obtained, opened, and shared with media illegally by a local resident. The police have been notified and will be investigating.’
