Jimmy Fallon is seen outside NBC Studios after 'awkward' interview with TikTok's The Costco Guys

Jimmy Fallon appeared unfazed by any backlash over his interview with the Costco Guys on Wednesday as he filmed a holiday skit outside NBC Studios in New York City.

After getting accused of ‘barely’ concealing ‘his contempt’ during a sit-down with the Costco Guys, A.J., Big Justice, and The Rizzler, on Monday’s episode of his late night talk show, the host, 50, returned to work with a smile on his face.

The four-time Emmy Award winner appeared ready to kick off the most wonderful time of the year as he held onto a pair of ice skates.

For the segment, he could be seen wearing a festive red and white scarf with reindeer on it and a long black coat.

Later, he returned in front of the cameras in a white dress shirt and black bow tie.

For most New Yorkers, like Fallon, the holiday season does not officially start until the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree arrives to Manhattan.

NBC, which is the home of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, will broadcast the lighting ceremony on December 4, 2024.

Fallon’s latest sighting comes after his noticeably awkward interview with TikTok’s The Costco Guys.

At one point, Fallon cut off his guest Big Justice shortly after he asked him to explain his infamous ‘Boom meter’ rating.

‘You have something on your channel called the Boom meter, can you explain how the Boom meter works Big Justice?’ the presenter had asked.

Big Justice replied: ‘So, we did this thing, “boom or doom.” But everybody got like, “You don’t give any dooms,” blah, blah, blah. Right?

‘Well, we came up with the boom meter ’cause people rate stuff one to 10. So, we said, it goes from one to five booms.

‘If it’s good: four booms, okay: two booms, bad: one boom, amazing: five big booms.’

At this point, Big Justice, dad A.J., and The Rizzler were about to shout five booms in unison, but Jimmy stepped in to stop them.

‘Okay,’ Jimmy interrupted. ‘Yeah, five booms.’

He then moved the segment on so that his guests could rate Halloween candy with their boom rating instead.

Unimpressed viewers flooded social media where they called out Jimmy for his behavior.

Taking to X, one said: ‘Did anyone else notice Jimmy Fallon’s barely contained contempt for the Costco Guys and their BOOM Meter?’

Another said: ‘I have never hated Jimmy Fallon more than this very moment.

‘He does not appreciate the joy or whimsy of the Costco Guys, or even The Rizzler.

‘He cuts them off, he disregards the love they have to give the world. I hope he goes to Hell the moment he takes his final breaths.’

A third added: ‘Can’t stop thinking about how much Jimmy Fallon hated the Costco guys.’

‘Love how the Costco guys are just having fun and Fallon is absolutely seething,’ a fourth continued.

Others were a little more understanding.

‘If I were Jimmy I would be so freaking annoyed that I would try to move on to the next guest,’ one said.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: ‘Of all the influencers out there, I think this family has got to be the most annoying of them all.’

Father-and-son duo A.J. and Big Justice – real names Andrew and Eric Befum – have taken the internet by storm with their Costco reviews, in which they either approve or disapprove of products using their boom rating.

The Rizzler, while not related to A.J. and Big Justice, is also famed for his social media profile.

The third grader – real name Christian Joseph – gained popularity on TikTok after he uploaded a video of himself dressed in a Black Panther costume.

He’s also known for doing ‘the rizz face,’ a move which involves him pouting and stroking his chin.

In June, it was confirmed that Jimmy had renewed his contract to helm the NBC late-night talk show until 2028.

The news came nearly one year after he was accused of creating a ‘toxic work environment’ by 16 current and former staffers.

Last September, they alleged to Rolling Stone that Jimmy was known for his ‘outbursts’ and ‘hissy fits,’ forcing employees to sob in ‘crying rooms’ and resulting in several of them having suicidal thoughts.
