Ant McPartlin might be taking a big step this year with reports that the Britain’s Got Talent host is moving in with his girlfriend, Anne-Marie Corbett.
The big move will mean that Ant, 43, will move away from his best friend Declan Donnelly for the first time in 30 years as the TV duo have always made sure to be neighbours.
Sad times.
Ant and Anne-Marie’s year-long relationship is reportedly going strong and the couple are now said to be ready for the next step.
The TV presenter currently lives in a £6 million home in Chiswick, west London and will reportedly move down to a new mansion in south west London.
Declan, 43, also lives nearby in Chiswick with his wife, Ali Astall, and their baby daughter Isla, who was born in September.
A source told The Sun: ‘Ant and Anne-Marie’s relationship really is going from strength to strength and she has moved in with him very recently.
‘It is obviously a big step for them and, particularly, Anne-Marie, given her situation. But they just want to be together and their home is really a love-nest.’
The insider alleges that once Ant and Anne-Marie are settled into their new abode, wedding bells could ring for the happy couple once his divorce to ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong, is finalised.
They claimed: ‘Their friends half-expect further news, like an engagement, once Ant resolves everything with Lisa although he is not talking about that out of respect to Lisa.
‘But Ant and Anne-Marie are happiest spending time at home together and with the girls and the dogs, who are part of the family.’
Anne-Marie is mother to two young children from a previous relationship.
The source reveals that Ant is a ‘homebody’ and loves staying indoors while Anne-Marie is a ‘nurturer’.
‘She is also happy that he has moved away from Chiswick and his old life,’ the source added.
Ant confirmed his relationship with Anne-Marie for the first time earlier this year and described the PA as the ‘most wonderful true woman’.
The TV star praised: ‘Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life. She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy.’
