Anna announced in a candid Instagram post yesterday that it “felt wrong not to” return to her job amid the COVID-19 outbreak, after she shot to fame in the villa in 2019.
Now, taking to her Stories, Anna admitted she’s missed the grind.
Sharing a sleepy-looking selfie after a hard day’s work, Anna wrote: “I forgot what it’s like working 9-6.
“Is it weird that I actually missed it? Coming home from work tired and ready to relax. Having more of a structure/routine.
“Waking up early. Still not sleeping early though.”
Anna’s received a flood of supportive messages from her Love Island pals.
“How lush is she!” wrote Love Island champ Amber Gill, “Just love her. This is what it’s about.”
Meanwhile, Amy Hart gushed: “Could not be prouder of my beautiful friend. #notyouraveragehunnay.”
“What an inspiration to us all,” wrote Elma Pazar, “@annavakili_ we love you.”
Anna was overcome by it all, penning: “Thank you everyone for the lovely messages and comments – was NOT expecting that at all! So kind.”
Anna yesterday made the announcement that she would be doing all she could to fight coronavirus with a snap of her behind a pharmacy till, a mask across her face.
“First day back working as a Pharmacist since leaving Love Island,” she told, “It’s been almost a whole year! Wow, can’t believe how fast it’s gone.
“Wasn’t really planning on registering yet but with everything that’s going on it felt wrong not to.
“We can all fight this together. Stay safe. Stay home. Save lives.”
Anna had a tough time during Love Island, making some solid friendships but also having her heart broken by Jordan Hames.
Jordan admitted he’d had his head turned by newcomer India Reynolds, leaving Anna fuming.
