Adam Woodyatt’s estranged wife Bev Sharp is said to be ‘furious’ at the star as she is ‘struggling financially’
Adam Woodyatt’s estranged wife is reportedly ‘furious’ at the EastEnders star after he is said to have signed a six-figure I’m A Celeb deal while she ‘struggles for money’.
The 53-year-old soap star, who plays Ian Beale, has signed a contract to appear on the ITV reality series amid his ongoing divorce from Bev Sharp.
Bev, who shares two children with Adam, is said to be “struggling” according to a pal, and she was spotted buying reduced-price food including bread, a fish pie and quiche during a recent trip to the shops.
She is reportedly having financial struggles and has received food parcels from her worried family.

Meanwhile, Adam is rumoured to be joining I’m A Celeb and it’s claimed he has signed a £250,000 contract to appear on the show before their divorce has been settled.
A source told The Sun: “She’s really been struggling
“Bev looked a bit down on her luck and alone.
“You could see the yellow stickers used when food items are coming to the end of their sell by date.”
A pal of Bev added: “She has really struggled financially and relied on food donations on occasion recently from family and friends.”
They said she will “get her own back” by having his voting number for the Bushtucker trials on speed dial.
A source previously told the publication that he is reported to be receiving a “bumper pay deal” to feature on the ITV reality series – which is set to return to Wales next month.
He departed the BBC soap earlier this year – with his character running away from Albert Square after childhood friend turned wife Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, attempted to kill him in revenge for the death of her son, Den – whose death was partly Ian’s fault after he locked Den inside a sinking boat.
Adam revealed earlier this year he would be taking an extended leave from the show after decades of service across thousands of episodes.
And his break from the show is said to extend until the new year – meaning his character will be away from Albert Square until 2022.
Joining the cast of I’m A Celeb will see the TV star join other famous faces as they sleep in the chilly shadows of Gwrych Castle in Wales and confronting Bush Tucker Trials.
Fellow TV icon Richard Madeley has been unveiled as a contestant for the 2021 series.
The Mirror has contacted Adam’s representative for a comment.
