Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey would add more balance to his midfield, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry. Solskjaer is said to be keen on the idea of a player-plus-cash deal which would see Ramsey leave Juventus for Old Trafford and Paul Pogba head in the opposite direction back to Turin.
Ramsey only joined Juventus last summer on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal at the end of his contract.
However, the 29-year-old has struggled with injuries under Maurizio Sarri and has started just nine Serie A games in his debut campaign at the club, scoring three goals.
United came close to signing Ramsey in 2008 before Arsenal snuck in and signed the teenage prodigy from boyhood club Cardiff City.
He went on to make over 350 appearances in an 11-year spell at the Emirates, winning three FA Cups, but the Red Devils could finally get their man this summer.

He added: “We start with breaking information received by us here at transfer centre and that relates to Paul Pogba, whom, as I’m sure many of you have seen, has been rumoured to be subject of a potential new contract negotiation with Manchester United, which would extend his current deal, a deal that is due to expire a year this summer.
“Well, information that we have does not suggest that that’s the case, in fact it suggests that Manchester United are still open to selling the France international, if a valuation that meets their value of the player is received.”
