Who won the Fortnite World Cup and what were the final standings?

The Fortnite World Cup got underway over the weekend and it saw players from around the compete in both solo and duo gameplay.

The competition included a total prize pool of $30m (£24m), with the winner of the solos competition taking home $3m (£2.4m).

It was held at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City with the duos tournament taking place on Saturday, followed by the solos on Sunday.

Who won the Fortnite World Cup?

The winners and final standings were decided by who had the most points.

Players earn one point for each kill and ten points for a victory royale, while they can also earn points by finishing anyway in the top 25 of a game.

The winner of the Solo competition was American player Bugha, who finished with 59 points, which was 26 points ahead of psalm, who finished in second place.

The Duos finals were won by Nyhrox and aqua who finished on 51 points, finishing eahead of Rojo and British player Wolfiez who had 47 points.

What were Fortnite World Cup finals standings?

American players made up the top four positions in the standings of the solo competition, followed by players from Argentina, Sweden and France.

The Duos was more diverse with the winners Nyhrox and aqua coming from Norway and Austria, followed by players from the Netherlands and the UK.
